Stoic or heartless… ?

SHE was sitting on the edge of her hut, still loving the air – the way it was breezing that day, she let that breeze took her emotions away so when others were cursing her, complaining and even hitting, it hardly mattered. SHE just pleaded to be in her seat near the edge as if SHE had decided to leave the body there and let her soul wander, emotionless everywhere with the wind.

SHE hardly get pinched anymore when she’s in trouble nor she gave an inch about when HER SONS begged at times to sign the papers as they were in real debt. It was useless to her what’s happening around, last Sunday she saw a snake being killed by the boys although, she could have saved the creature but she really didn’t feel like doing so.

She just want to sit on that edge of the hut, not blinking eyes for hours till they watered, sometimes people took her inside her hut in sense of danger outside, still she woke up in the middle of the night just to be seated on that edge. Now, the whole village called her ‘Pagal Budiya’ or Mad old woman.

Is that all because of what she suffered and sacrificed a lot her entire life that she’s emotionless almost drained out of those feelings or she has achieved stoicism, finally ?

    1. Right ! World is harsh but what if we understand and learn to let go of emotions and be a stoic. I mean these people are different, entirely different. At one stage people will realize that they lost more with being harsh than by being neutral.

  1. My husband and i got really joyous when Jordan managed to carry out his web research through the entire precious recommendations he came across through the web site. It’s not at all simplistic just to continually be freely giving tactics many others may have been trying to sell. And we all take into account we have got the writer to appreciate for that. The explanations you’ve made, the simple web site menu, the friendships you assist to engender – it’s everything fabulous, and it’s really facilitating our son in addition to our family reason why that matter is fun, and that is particularly important. Thank you for all!
